Hy-Yest™ 503
Is a yeast extract manufactured using a selected strain of bakers’ yeast, Saccharomyces cerevisiae and specifically treated to produce a very rich, salt free source of soluble proteins, amino acids, nucleic acids, vitamins and other essential elements. It has been shown to give excellent recombinant protein yields when used in production media for E.coli. Hy-Yest™ 503 is soluble, but not clear soluble and should be heat sterilized. Special spray drying technology is used so a less dusting powder is obtained due to reduction of fines.
