Sheffield RS-NSO, an animal free supplement for use with NSO myeloma cells, was developed for use in complete media with or without nutritive feeds. RS-NSO is composed of small molecules that direct cellular pathways, and does not provide basic nutritive factors, such as insulin, cytokines, amino acids, and glutamine.
