Sheffield™ Tabletting System Formulations are free flowing functional powder formulations designed for use in pharmaceutical direct tabletting operations.
Sheffield™ Tabletting System ODT is designed for use in orally disintegrating tablets. It can be blended with a flavor and active, or a taste-masked active and then directly compressed into tablets. It can also be used for tablets where dissolution is an issue when using typical excipients such as lactose or MCC.
LubriTose is an integrated co-processed excipient system that eliminates manufacturing issues typically encountered with using Magnesium Stearate as a lubricant. It was specifically designed for use in direct compression, high speed tabletting operations where consistency, production efficiency and cost are paramount.
Disintequik is a co-processed lactose/disintegrant excipient designed for high speed, direct tabletting operations where fast formulation disintegration is required. The tablet hardness and friability are similar to that of pure lactose. Disintequik has a much faster dissolution rate than MCC.
Disintequik MCC is a co-processed Alpha Lactose Monohydrate/Microcrystalline Cellulose excipient designed for direct tabletting or wet granulation, where hard tablets and fast dissolution is desired. Disintequik MCC has a much faster dissolution rate than crystalline lactose. The tablet hardness and friability are also enhanced compared to lactose
